Stuck in airplane mode?

My wife's 950, which she has had for about 5 or 6 months, suddenly got stuck in airplane mode which prevents her from getting a phone signal. Has anyone had this issue and able to fix it? We have tried soft reset, a full reset, and even went by the AT&T store and they were of very little help (although quite nice). I'd really like to get this issue resolved if there is a fix, or I might have to switch her to an iPhone (ugh). Thanks for any helpful hints.

Try using Windows device recovery tool from Microsoft, it should work. Beware it deletes the internal memory. It got me out of trouble multiple times.
