Stuck on spinning Gears after Cortana download!

Help, My Nokia Lumia 920 is stuck on the spinning gears with 1/8 progress, i cant get it out of it, should i just wait it out? its ran out of battery already once and resumes where it was, i updates to 8.1 just fine, but when trying to get cortana working it got stuck here, when i restart using volume down and power it goes back to the gears and resumes! help and advice would be much appreciated. Thank you

​What hard reset? Volume down+power?

Volume down + Power + Camera (press hard) for at least 10 seconds. Then set up everything and when downloading language pack for Cortana the spinning gears will appear again. Don't worry, just give it some time (took me at least 30 minutes)

I cant get mine out of the spinning gears -_- its getting late im considering to just leave it over night

and im running low on battery, it seems to be using alot of battery on the cogs.

weird.. Mine barely used any battery life, but i had it hooked up anyways.. try hooking it up and leaving it overnight

sorted, i left it on its wireless charger, i woke up in the night and it had done so im happy! thanks guys!
