Stuck with music control

I've got my Band 2 set up so a double push on the main button launches my music control for my phone. This is fine, unless the double push is a mistake. Once that happens, I can't find any way to exit out of the music control mode. Anyone have any ideas how to shut it down once it's been started, other than letting it time out?
