Is there any way to hold the phone in portrait mode and still take landscape photos?
The phone is far easier to hold in portrait mode so wouldn't it be cool to still take landscape shots that way!
Anyway, is there any way to do that?
Sorry, I can't make that work. Can you please explain?
I'd like to take a landscape picture, just like if you hold the phone in landscape BUT I need to hold the phone in portrait mode, ie, vertically.
Just lock the phone rotation in landscape mode , by going into phone settings ->screen rotation ->turn it on (it must be on by default , tilt you phone in landscape mode and tap the switch to turn it of , this will lock the screen rotation in landscape mode ) now go to nokia camera and voila you have it locked in landscape mode
OP wants to essentially take a landscape from portrait. Not a vertical from portrait. There is no way to do that without loss of pixels. You can rotate the picture and then edit it to be 16:9 or 4:3.
Thanks but doing this simply takes a picture in portrait mode!
I need to hold the phone in portrait mode and show a small landscape screen at the top. Just like what happens when you view a landscape picture in portrait mode!
Thanks Troylytle, I was afraid this might be the case. Shame, would have been cool!
