Stupid SD card problem

Is it just me or there is something wrong with windows phone that could've cause the SD card to be corrupted..i mean my friends who were using android doesn't seem to have this kind of problem but I'm already having my third SD card broken..damn it

Bro don't install all of ur application in SD card and use only 10 Class SD card

I use only 10Class SD Card and All of my games is installed in SD while apps in phone memory. I think that app like WhatsApp runs in background. If u install WhatsApp like application in SD can give too much pressure to SD. That's why there is maximum chance of getting your SD corrupted..

Not sure what you mean with broken.
You can always can format your SD card if it is corrupted.
And check it on errors in your PC.
Furthermore a lot of SD card manufacturers give warranty on there cards so if it is really broken you should get a new one.

Also depends on where you're getting the cards from - amazon UK was selling a batch of fake sandisk cards; they obviously didn't know, but these things present issues over time. I contacted Sandisk directly and they simply replaced the cards (128gb uhs1 ).

Also, are you using class 10 cards? WP has issues off loading apps to other speeds, for whatever reason.

And yeah, you can just format the cards.

I've got a couple of android phones (all flagships) and they've all presented issues with sd card at one time or another. Even had problems with BlackBerry, both bbos and bb10.

Hdds and ssds get knackered also: Just get a replacement if need be! Good luck!

What you said is right......when i installed whatsapp on sd card and when my phone restarts i used to get a notification that sd card is corrupted and need to be scanned....now i moved it to phone and now i don't have any problem

FYI whatsapp cannot be installed on sd card. Also sandisk user here, 64 GB class 10 working without any issuse.

I'll say connect the sd card in pc with adapter, and run chkdsk and/or do clean exFAT format (not quick format).

Where did you get your SD card? Maybe the card has problems. I suggest you to buy SD card at official stores. This could guarantee SD card' quality.
