Stylus For Pro3 Work on Pro2?

Does anyone know if the stylus for the Surface Pro 3 will work on the Surface Pro 2?

Doubt it, 2 is Wacom (?) and 3 is Ntrig - according to Tom W.

From what I read, it looks like a no. Since the WACOM pen does not need a battery, but instead of a hardware layer between the pen and digitizer (behind the LCD), and the NTrig does not, they probably won't be compatible.

They must've made that sacrifice to make the Awesome Tablet 3 as thin as it is.
