Or any Xolo phone really. I've been looking on Flipkart and Snapdeal and they're ALWAYS sold out. Flipkart in particular keeps restocking, then immediately selling out, so I figure SOMEBODY has to have this thing, especially if they pre-order like that, they're probably more likely to be on this website. I think there should at least be a Xolo section under "other Windows Phones" or maybe even in the other section of that section. Plus, I mean, they're the first 3rd party OEM to ship a WP8.1 handset, I think they deserve something for that lol

What's Xolo? Is it available only overseas? I've never spotted a Xolo device, Windows Phone or Android (if they make Androids) in the US.

According to the interwebs, Xolo is an Indian subsidiary to another company called Lava, which makes phones. I guess Lava makes phones and they bought a company that makes phones too? Or something like that. They've been talked about on WPCentral a few times like this http://m.windowscentral.com/indian-manufacturer-xolo-launch-lightest-smartphone-world . I wouldn't expect that we would ever see one of their Windows Phones here in the US.

I can't find any concrete numbers on them, but I wouldn't be surprised if they only ship about as many phones as Blackberry, if not less (~10m per year). They're primarily low-end. Technically since our Nokia phones are now "1st party" and HTC hasn't delivered the W8 and the Samsung Ativ SE didn't ship with 8.1, that makes this phone the first 3rd party Windows Phone 8.1 device.
