Suggestions please

The charging port on my 1520 is bout shot, I replaced the battery on this phone while back & still am having battery drain within few hours so probably could use another new battery. My question is this, I like the large screen of 1520 & have only ever used windows phones, never owned a different OS. I can't afford to pay full price for 950 xl or any phone for that matter but my phones gonna need replaced pretty soon or im gonna just end up wrecking something by opening it up all the time to replace it's guts. Im on at&t so can do the next program but not much of a selection of windows phones. Is there any rumors of phones coming to at&t within next 6 months or does anyone have a suggestion of phone I could get? I dont wanta have to go to different OS & will keep trying to run my phone if know there's probable phones coming. I dont mind unlocked phones, I just can't afford most of them.

Six months is a long while, your phone can go south in that timeframe. Hopefully not but still possible. The "Surface phone" is rumored for next year but no one knows if that timeline is fixed or not.

I would suggest seeing if you can locate a 1520 again. I believe that AT&T has 1520s on Next again, Windows Central made a post about it.

What's your budget for a replacement phone? If it's less than $200, then you can get a used 1520 for that price. If you're thinking about sticking with a new phone, then the 640 XL is a solid 6-inch phone that AT&T currently sells new for $149. If you don't mind dropping to a 5-inch screen, then you can try a Lumia 640.

Thanks you guys for your replies! At&t doesn't currently have 1520 listed as of today but thanks for suggestion libra89!
I don't know much about 640xl, how does it compare to 1520? I'm a farm girl so business productivity stuff doesn't matter to me but general reliability does matter. I use my phone as a phone, for games, as my camera & to look stuff up on internet, those are what my needs are for a phone. I got smashed farmer fingers, anything smaller than 5 inches is hard for me to use so larger screen is a requirement.
640xl would be my choice since I can't afford 950xl but would like to know how stacks up next to 1520 first. Thanks again for help!

640Xl is the same as 640, but with that larger screen and a bonus given your stated needs, a major bump up in camera quality.
