The demo made me feel like it has a steep learning curve. The girl likes it, though. Don't know if I should pick it up just for her.

Some people really do hate it much less than me. But as the levels get harder, the inadequate controls become much more of a hindrance.

i really dont get the appeal of smb. but if it makes her happy, then yes, it is totally worth it.

I wanted to get into this game, but the graphics and controls aren't great. So even with the price cut I won't be picking it up.
