I'm concerned.
Personally, I think MMO* should release just one midrange device between the 630/635 and the 930. With one name across all carriers. Nice and simple marketing message.
So what do they seem to be doing?
The same old, same old mistakes.
AdDuplex have spotted the RM983/984/985, which all seem to be variants on the same device, with a 5 inch screen, and there's been plenty of leaks about codename Superman, the "Selfie Lumia", with a 4.7 inch screen. So these 2, based on this info, seem to be different models. Worse, the RM983 is probably the Lumia 830, and then the RM984 is most likely the Verizon variant, with the RM985 as the T-Mobile US variant. Have they learned nothing? Because the 810 and 822 were a different form factor to the 820, any accessories for the 820, like cases, didn't fit. The option to add wireless charging to the 820 wasn't available to the other two. And TMob basically abandoned the 810.
Then Superman seems to be the Lumia 730, replacing the "Lumia for hipsters" 720. Which only sold well in Brazil after every other carrier around the world passed on it...
Come on MMO, these two devices need to be merged into one! One midrange device, 1GB RAM, 720p screen, swappable case backs with Qi option, high res Selfie FFC.
