Surface 3 64 GB - any cons with using an SD-card?

64 GB HDD isn`t much. I want to buy a 128 GB SD card. Are there any cons to this? I read some place that the Surface 3 is unable to store apps and games from windows store into the card itself? Is that still the case?

You can install apps to the SD card now with Windows 10. You couldn't in 8.1 I believe.
