I use Microsoft Movie Maker (desktop app) for basic video editing and converting. Has anyone tried it out on a Surface 3? Can it handle it?

I've done some basic editing on my previous tablet, the Dell Venue 8 Pro. Apart from the time it took it worked well so the S3 should be ok for basic stuff.

Yes it does, I just used Movie Maker to edit a 1080p, 30fps mpeg-4 AVC video (bitrate was around 1.5Mbps). It was shaky footage from a drone and I had Movie Maker take the shake out. The footage was only 15 minutes long but Movie Maker and the Surface 3 handled it with ease. The end encoding time wasn't all that bad either.

I do some light editing in Premiere Pro so for anyone else wondering just how capable it is. It can handle light Premiere Pro stuff. I also have the 4GB version
