Surface Book Pen

Well I had problems with my pen as I thought it was a battery issue. But after changing batteries 2 days in a row I realized it was a different issue. I removed the device and it kept connecting and when I held the eraser down Onenote would start but the wouldn't be recognized. I kept removing the device under bluetooth is setting. Finally I went to device manager under bluetooth device and removed the pen and hit find new hardware. It found the pen driver and installed and the pen started to work immediately.
