Surface Go Tablet will not recognize my SD Card

I used to transfer data from my desktop PC to my Surface GO tablet via an SD card.
But recently my Windows 10 (with latest updates) on Surface GO will not see (recognize) my SD card.
I've tried multiple ways as suggested from my GOOGLE searches but not will work.
How can I fix this?

First of all, if you plug the SD card in to another computer, does it work? If you use a USB card reader and plug the SD card in to that and the card reader in to your Surface Go, does it work? If it works on another computer, copy all the data from the SD card to that computer, format the SD card, then copy the data back and try the SD card in your Surface Go once again.
