I just traded my sp2 for an sp3, and am really disappointed with the pen loop. it may stick on, but it's not exactly an easy task to put the pen into the loop, when compared with how the sp2 worked.

I was wondering if anyone out there has 3d printer experience, and can design and print a pen holder that can be fixed to the tablet? I imagine it a c-clip design, where you can just push the pen into the holder that uses some adhesive to fix it to the surface?
thanks...

I've found a local place that 3d prints, and I created a couple of different pieces. they are currently printing them, and we'll see how they turn out...

I would be very interested in what your produce.

So here's what I have so far:

Seems to work ok. I wish it was a little thinner, but to me, its not that noticeable.

Both of the Microsoft Stores close to me have 3D printers and print stuff like this out for free all the time. Just bring in the file.
