Surface Pro 2 Display Driver

I just installed the Technical Preview on my Surface Pro 2, and I seem to be stuck on the Microsoft Basic Display Adapter. I downloaded the latest driver from Intel, installed it, rebooted, and I'm still on the Microsoft driver. I tried going into Device Manager and manually installing the driver, but it tells me the driver is not compatible.

I downloaded the HD Graphics 4400 driver.

Any thoughts on how to fix this?

Did you try Windows Update? I heard the graphics team has some updates that should alleviate some issues. Try going through windows update and see if that helps

I ran Windows update and it installed Intel HD driver 4079, but now none of my apps work anymore (I can't open them. I only get error messages about "Element not found". This is the only reason why I'm considering going back to Win8.1!
