Surface Pro 3 Windows 10 automatic touch on screen, what could it be?

Surface Pro 3 windows 10 automatic touch on screen

I have installed windows 10 on my surface pro 3. Intermittently there is a touch in the top right quadrant of the screen. I cannot use my type cover until I touch that spot on the screen several times. Is anyone else facing this problem?

I don't have Windows 10 but I'm having the same problem, and it sounds like it's happening in the same area too. For me it's a about an inch down from the top right and a quarter of the screen size in towards the middle. I don't know what the problem is, its making it really difficult to type anything as it selects something higher up every five seconds. Also its made the top inch of my screen completely irresponsive to touch.

If its not some manufacturing defect the only thing I might be able to attribute it to is that I started using my surface pen again just before it happened. I lost the pen for almost a year and recently found it. I don't know why that would have any effect but that's the one thing that changed with my use of my surface.
