surface pro 3 won"t turn on

How do I turn on Surface Pro 3 after shutting down? Just purchased 2 days ago.

If just pressing the power button won't turn it on, try press/hold power button and volume down button until you see screen activity. I've seen this take as much as 30 seconds on my Surfaces (SP2, SP3). That should get you going. If not, contact Microsoft Support.

Try holding volume down and power button for 15 seconds, wait another 5 seconds, hold the power button until you see something on screen. Once you get it back up and running, do ALL the Windows/Microsoft Updates available.
