Surface Pro 4 type cover - Which color do you prefer?

Went with Black of the gate but really like the bright blue - might have to make an exchange if I end up keeping my Surface

That's exactly what I did. Kicking myself for not doing the bright blue when I had the chance. Now I can't find one.

Wanted light blue (cyan), but it wasn't in stock at MSFT store or Best Buy. They apparently said that most of them were asked to be sent back by Microsoft for some reason. So, there was only a few that made it out into the wild. I had Red on my SP3 (it looks really nice), so chose dark blue this time. I had cyan on my original RT and Surface 2 though, so missed that look.

I got the red and love it but I also love the teal, I am torn between the two. This is why sometimes options aren't a good thing lol.

Teal at first but I found a cyan at Best Buy (not even showing as available online, but I didn't let that stop me from buying it) so the teal may go back. It's an awesome color though and I can see myself keeping or eventually buying it again.

PM sent!!

I picked up a red one yesterday. But it doesn't include a fingerprint scanner. I read somewhere that Canadians won't get the fingerprint scanner. Anyone have details on that?

Anyways, I'm happy with my red one. I couldn't stand the SP3 keyboard. The lack of an insert key was driving me nuts.

Anyone in Toronto interested in buying my black SP3 keyboard?

I'm very happy with the Blue cover. I wanted Teal but it does not look so good in person. I suggest checking them in person.

I got black because, honestly, no typecover looks good when a lot of dirt spots are noticeable. On my Surface 3, I noticed that dirt showed up a lot on my blue keyboard, so thought I'd go with black, which shouldn't show dirt as much.

I got the black one (since it's the only option with the fingerprint scanner). It looks really nice. It's not deep black, but more like dark gray. Especially from outside. I like it!

Interesting point - I was thinking of trading black for bright blue when it's available; however, you've got me questioning that. I like the idea of the bright blue looking different than a silver and black device.

Really would have liked to see the purple from the SP3 cover carried forward... I would order one for my SP3.

I have the cyan one. The rep at my local Microsoft store was surprised when I found it on the shelf as they didn't think they were getting more right away.

The red looks great. I was originally going to go with the blue option (loved the look with the Surface 3), but after seeing the teal, I'm going with teal.

I have cyan, purple, and magenta for my SP2.

Black looks terribly boring but probably the worst part of the black keyboard is the gray felt on the back which looks terrible. Almost cheap.

I'm hoping these keyboard don't develop shiny spots (from oil wearing away the major keys). That was a big problem with my purple keyboard. The cyan was much more resistant (or perhaps the lighter color hid those spots better but it was probably use because I used the purple keyboard as my daily driver).

I like to think of black as distinguished and professional looking..... As for shiny spots on the keys, that's why, when possible, you use the on-screen touch keyboard, and save the physical keyboard for heavier projects.

Yeah, but I use my Surface machines for everything and all the time. I use it for fun, for work, for everything. No reason to baby it.
