Surface RT Touch Screen not working, how can I fix it?

Surface RT Touch Screen not working

My Surface RT touch screen stopped working. I have done everything I can find on the internet trying to fix it from cleaning the screen with a microfiber cloth to blowing it away and re-installing everything.

The Windows button on the screen responds with the tactile vibrate, but the screen itself is not functioning as a touch screen. Any ideas?

I have exactly the same problem. I think it was the same time as an update. I have gone through all the steps including full reset - nothing yet has fixed the touchscreen. Microsoft website only offer is to replace it fro ?210 (UK)....
