I want to swap my L1520 housing, and see lots of backs on ebay and one on aliexpress.com... I have the att one and do not care about having the nfc, or wireless charging cables...So if I get this back posted below, are there any parts that would need to be transferred from the old housing to the new one?? and how would I go about doing so?? any help would be appreciated thank you

I heard I would have to buy anther flash and earphone jack and glue it onto the new cover...Is that true??:sweaty::amaze::amaze::confused:

There are videos posted of case swaps if you look hard enough.
Also take apart all over YouTube.
Only hard part is gluing back the wireless cable if the case doesn't have one.
Also confirm if SD and som trays included with the case/shell.
Shouldn't need jack.

I cannot find ANY color swapping videos at all for some reason. I can only find screen replacement videos and those aren't helpful because they don't focus on replacement of the housing and as soon as they remove it they get straight to the internals, and don't show how someone wud go about putting on a different shell

The only thing I get from these videos are how to remove the shell and how I wud out that same shell bak on,but not how and wat I'd hav to do to put on a brand new empty shell

Wait, if you replace the back, you lose NFC? I was planning on replacing my black back to a red one with a part I found on parts4repair.com, but I don't wanna lose NFC.

You only lose NFC if the other one doesn't have NFC already glued on. You can always use your own, I believe that is what he was referring to.

Yes that is wat I was referring too, but seriously is there anybody whose done this that can tell me whether or not I'll need to transfer a flash and audio jack onto the new body??

Is the audio jack and camera flash not attached to the actual phone internals??

Take it apart, see what is glued to the battery cover, reassemble it, buy a new battery cover and every component you don't want to or can't transfer to the new component

Ive done this with my 920 & 930, the glue that holds nfc in place can be removed with a blast from a hairdryer, it does leave enough glue on so you can put it on your new cover. I think the headphone jack is part of the phone and not the cover so you should be ok
