Swype keyboard best practices and usage

Who here uses this keyboard? Is it better to use in portrait mode or landscape? Do you think you're faster than typing? I find myself misspelling a lot and autocorrect doesn't catch it on long words. Also I'm u used to typing on a kwerty keyboard, but can't get used to swiping. It's like I forget where the letter s are. And I've been using it since 8.1 was released. I don't think I've improved any. Amy tips or tricks?

I use the WordFlow keyboard quite a lot and to be honest it's quite badass

although yes, sometimes I forgot a letter and the words are messed up... but then again, the autocorrect in Windows Phone 8.1 is great so I don't really find a lot of hassle when I use it

I agree autocorrect is very good. I always forget to look above for the suggestion s. Do you use in portrait or landscape?

Just heard on Observed Tech Podcast that its called a ShapeWriter keyboard, not a Swype. LOL. I'll not make the same mistake.

Recently found out Word Flow is the predictive text feature. Shape Writer is the official name of the keyboard.

If I only knew how best to do it. I'd make an app or game for the WP to teach typing using the shape writing keyboard.
