I know Symbian is practically dead now, but I have a question.

Symbian was a very popular Operating system for a long time, why was there no "Symbain Central" or "Symbian Nation"? There seemed to be one for lots of other OSes

Nah. Steve already holds a monopoly on the Symbian users with allaboutsymbian(.com) and his great commentary.
