Sync Outlook.com Calendar to Outlook Mail Client

I recently downloaded the updates Microsoft Outlook for OS X onto my iMac. I was able to configure my email account fine, but it seems that Outlook (and the Native Apple calendar app) are not able to sync up my Outlook.com calendar. Is this by design or is there something I can do to make this work on either platform. Thanks!
