System Firmware Update - 12/10/2013 reinstalled

I just had notice to reboot my Surface 2 because it re-installed "System Firmware Update - 12/10/2013" .. I installed it on the 10th. Anyone else have this?

Yep. I just checked and noticed mine installed again yesterday, on the 13th.

This is strange. You made me curious, so I just checked to see if the same happened to me. My Surface isn't even showing that the update was installed, which I had done when released. Weird.

I think this broke my Type Cover. I did a system reset. I have installed all updates and I seem to be up and running.

Hmmm...I seem to have a bunch of updates dated Dec. 10 which deal with Office and Windows but no firmware update of that date. The strange thing though is that I can only see this through the desktop and not through PC Settings.
