T-Mobile & voicemail question

#1 - Is the only data-plan T-Mobile offers is the unlimited for $79.99?
#2 - does Radar 4G has visual voicemail with T-Mobile?

I'm using my Radar on prepaid. I used it with the $50 dollar plan first, and then I upgraded to $60 dollar plan to see if I really do go over 2GB.

The plans for prepaid go (not sure about the minutes, but pretty sure they're all unlimited talk and text along with the data caps):

49.99 - 100 MB of data
59.99 - 2GB of data
69.99 - 5GB of data (might as well go for this route since it's only prepaid)

Idk what the 79.99 is. If there was a 79.99 for true unlimited I would gladly pay that.

T-Mobile offers several data plans, both Classic and Value. I upgraded my Behold II for the Radar, and my total bill is about $85.00/mo. for 1000 mins talk, 400 texts/mo., unlimited data and premium handset insurance. They have several "bundled" packages, ranging from $69.99 (unlimited talk, text and 200mb data) to $119.99 (unlimited talk, text and 10GB data). I kept my old plan when I upgraded my phone, as it's no longer offered. YMMV.

I have my Radar on the $30 prepaid plan, which is unlimited txt and data with 100 minutes (I don't talk too much). The only negative to tmobiles prepaid is that they don't support visual voicemail or google voice.

Actually they do. I am using the $60 prepaid plan and use google voice. Use the govoice app. it will provide the integration you need for google voice

There are 2 contract plans. Value and Classic.

Classic gives you the phone at a 2 year price. 99.99 after a $50 rebate. Web is required The plans break down:
500 min 39.99, Unl Text (optional)$10, 2gb web $20 or 5gb web with tethering $30
Unl min & text 59.99, 2gb web $20 or 5gb web with tethering $30

Value: web is optional but you pay full price for the phone over time.

500 min $34.99, Unl Text $5, 2gb web $10, or 5gb web with tethering $25
Unl Talk & Text 49.99 2gb web $10, or 5gb web with tethering $25

You pay $99.99 for the phone, pay the sales tax on the full price $400 and pay off the remainder up front or broken down into 20 monthly payments of $15.


On the Classic plan there is an optional $10 200mb data plan, but you need the $20 for the rebate. Once the rebate is completed you can drop down. On the Value you also have a $5 200mb option.

Additional $50 rebate promo on either plan through March I think: If you have ANY working cell phone, no water or physical damage you can turn it in for another $50. A promo code is required, should be able to get in from T-mobile customer care or a rep at the store. Go to Mytradeins.com enter in the promo code. Enter in your phone info and address. Print out the postage paid label and ship the old phone off!

Well, that's not the visual VM included with WP7 on T-Mobile. That's a 3rd party app to enable VVM. The previous poster was right, by default the prepaid Monthly 4G plans do not include VVM. You just have to set up VVM yourself through apps.

My wife has a Lumia 710 and VVM does not work on it. We haven't gotten a 3rd party app to enable it.
