Taking an AT&T Lumia 925 (unlocked) to Verizon

Hi!

There are plenty of threads about taking an AT&T phone to T-Mobile, but has anyone taken an unlocked AT&T phone to Verizon? Specifically the Lumia 925?

I know that Verizon operates on a CDMA network and AT&T on a GSM network, but since we can take unlocked devices like the Lumia 928 or the iPhone 5 from Verizon to AT&T / T-Mobile, I started to wonder if Verizon also supports some GSM bands. Or is it that certain devices are both CDMA and GSM compatible?

Thoughts and feedback would be appreciated.

I thought that GSM devices only work on GSM network, unless the phone have both; GSM and CDMA integrated.

The simple answer is no. Verizon has no GSM bands, and won't allow a non-verizon phone on their network.
