Does anyone know if at&t's lg quantum will be getting the tango update?

ATT hasn't announced whether they will release Tango for any of their phones. They are deplorable. You may be aware that there are unofficial ways to get it.

Member dv220s announced that he got Tango for his AT&T LG Quantum. In the comments to a news article he said, "LG Quantum got it. Without even forcing it. Now enjoying 7.10.8773.98." No luck for me yet, though.

I forced it on my unbranded Quantum.

Maybe you were an accident or part of a small pilot program.

AT&T is notoriously slow at releasing updates. And given that Tango is a very minor update for our phones, I'm neither surprised nor upset that it hasn't been released for the Quantum yet by AT&T.

Got my update from Bell (in Canada) 2 weeks ago. I didn't need to force it either.

I looked back through WPCentral and found that the AT&T Quantum went End Of Life in October 2011. I doubt AT&T would update an EOL device, let alone one that's been EOL for 10 months. Therefore, I have started the process myself. I'm now on 7740 and will hang out there for a couple of weeks for fun.

I'm on 8773 now and must say BFD. The thing that annoys me most about WP is still present: sometimes it will not capitalize the first letter of a sentence. I have now lost hope that this will ever be fixed.
