Tap to wake --> Knock to wake

A few days ago I watched a video in which a OnePlusOne Android phone was compared to an iPhone. One segment showed how the O+O has a knock to wake feature, very similar to the L735.

As tap to wake sometimes doesn't work, I thought I'd try knocking on the screen with a knuckle instead, just like in the video. It seems to be much more effective than tapping. It's not perfect, but it does feel as if the success rate is higher.

Could others try this, and feed back, please?

It's skin to screen contact, so I don't see why this wouldn't work. Either way, yes, it worked on my Lumia 920.

It worked, but the tap (with finger) worked better for me on my 830.

I think its simply a cadence issue, so whatever works best for you.

Odd. Tapping works less often for me than knocking.

Well, we all have different fingers...
