I was reading in the comments on a article on windows central and people are saying the technical preview builds are ending after the build conference but the insider app will continue. Does anyone have any info on this? Where was this said at? So the technical preview isn't continuing until windows 10 for phones is complete

There will be new builds still coming out, people are just getting all flustered over the 'this build' ending April , that's all It is.

I mean what is meant buy this build ending in April tho? I've never heard any of the prior builds referred to as ending

Generally all "preview" software that Microsoft puts out, to include alphas/betas/customer preview etc. comes with a turnoff/shutdown date coded in to it. This keeps people from just using pre release software for ever. Usually this is a six month window. So versions that were installed in November that were not updated were expiring in April. This was causing some people issues since later builds were not installing over the older builds because they were too old.
