Tempered Glass Screen Protector w/Lumia 635?

I picked up a Lumia 635 for Christmas. Only a slight upgrade from my Lumia 520, but well worth it since I didn't have to buy it.

I have always used Tempered Glass Screen Protectors, because I hate scratched and broken glass.

My question is this: Is a Tempered Glass Screen Protector necessary or worthwhile on a Lumia 635 since it has the Corning Gorilla Glass 3? Or would the added protection be worth it?

Note: I am picking up one of the 2 piece gel/plastic armor cases for the phone for added protection during drops, bumps, etc. and I can get the Tempered Glass online for $5.95US delivered to my door (shipping charges included.)

I realize this is an "opinion" type question, but I've never had any experience with Gorilla Glass, and am looking for input from those with the experience.

My view is that phones are like people, they should never leave the house naked - it is just asking for trouble.

I say get the TG and rest assured; an ounce of prevention IS worth a pound of cure.
