I did a hard reset over the weekend on my 8XT running 8.1. When I re-added my Outlook account as well as Facebook, it took the text thread from a family member (who doesn't have any social media) and randomly linked it with a Facebook contact. This is a Facebook contact whose number I don't have, whose number isn't posted on Facebook, and whose name isn't remotely similar with the original contact.
When I went to unlink the Facebook contact from the family member, it locked that text thread completely and kept the Facebook contact name.
Is there any way get that text thread back to the original contact? Might this have something to do with the 0x8500201D error that people are saying is affecting their text backup among other things?
