Texts are not always getting through to me!

I have a Lumia 950, fully updated, and I am having issues randomly where I do not receive text messages from people. It works 90% of the time but once in a while I will not get something from them.

It happens with android and iOS users, and messages of all types and sizes. I can be having an ongoing convo and suddenly one or more messages won't come through, but after that they resend and it works and we carry on.

What is the problem here?

I have a 950 XL, just got it to rest, joined the Insider, but mine is not up to date. I also have another test
phone running Windows 10 and it's a build above the 950. Anyway on your problem, the text message size
maybe the problem with your carrier not allowing a certain amount of text. Also period clear your text
messages.

Message size may be an issue but I'm on ATT, which i would think shouldn't be a problem. It seems the message app is kinda funky anyways, as every once in a while my contacts lose some of their data like the pic etc.

It may be a carrier side issue. Did you transfer the SIM from another device?

Make sure ATT has the SIM number and the IMEI from the 950 in their system. Ask for a reprovision.
