That screen..

With the snapdragon 800 it should be fine judging by the battery life the LG G2 and galaxy note 3 get using the same processor.

Those two are running a different kernel...

But yes, I don't think that batt life will be a problem with this one.. at 3400 mah it should be fine

I didn't know the kernel was different, but if those two androids an get great battery life with 300-3100 mah batteries the 1520 should be more than fine. Since I'm on Verizon I hope the rumored 929 has a 3000 mah battery.

Yes, the LG and the Sammy run on Linux and the 1520 runs on Windows NT

What's with the buttons being so close together? The concept is nice (knowing that when you reach across with your thumb, you won't hit buttons), but it looks so weird when the others are spread out more. Other than that, the screen is beautiful. Apple can boast all it wants about retina display but this thing is sexy, and I've only seen people have a ***** of a time seeing Istuff in the sun. To bad it's 6 inches, or I would consider buying one(when my contract is up, cause there's no way in hell I'm paying close to $800 for a phone).

We all know that Android is a battery hog, it consumes more battery than WP8. So its inevitable that Lumia 1525's battery will almost last twice more than note 3. My question is, how does 1520 feels on hand? Despite the fact that it uses polycarbonate, it is a plastic and big devices of plastic always gives cheap look and feel. Take a look at Galaxy Mega, big device with cheap plastic

^ I am not so sure about the battery thing ... if the WP device is in optimal working state, then maybe, but there seems to be a lot of little things that offset its power consumption.

Android sucks a lot of power.. that has been known from the very begging :)

Cheap plastic will feel like cheap plastic. The opposite applies to non cheap plastic..

As far as plastic phones what really lets the Galaxies down is the removable panel for battery access. It lends a flimsiness to the whole thing. At least the Lumias feel like a solid chunk of something. Nothing is going to feel as good as an iPhone 4/S though.

Most people put a case on their expensive investments, so plastic back or not, it's almost a moot point. Tried going naked for a while and messed up a corner on my lumia back a while ago. Never going naked again.

Yea, my 820 avoids such issues. I really love having a changeable shell. I can swap batteries easily when this one finally dies and the protective shell variant is really cool. Riding bareback is definitely the way to go, you just need the right phone for it.

Why Nokia don't just make all their phones with changeable shells I've no idea. Makes the usual iphone cases look hilarious.

I have the LG G2, and I can't say how much the 800 improves, but battery life is great!! This phone should run just fine!
