the battery has hung really long at 100%

Now in the last few days so the battery has hung really long at 100%
anyone else here who has experienced this.
this is the lumia 1020

might be some bug. i had a samsung phone before that showed the battery was charging by itself one day without plugged in

My 920 has been holding a charge really well lately. Take it off the charger at 100% at bedtime and when I wake up it's still 100%.

This is because u may have charged your Lumia for many hours ...happened with mee too,i kept my 520 for charging till 2 hours and the battery was 100% for like 1 hrs in standby

This is surely the battery icon under-reporting the charge state? If I leave mine on charge until the charger itself thinks it is fully charged then I get what I estimate to be 110/120% of what the phone icon reports as 100%. The effect varies between the basic Nokia wireless charger (best), my bedroom Bluetooth speaker / clock / wireless charger and a wired charger.

I tried to find a solution to the battery to be hanging at 100% after charging, but have not got any reply so far that has worked out.
It has in some days hung up to 9 h on 100% before moving again.
Have p?vd Soft reset, hard reset, software recovery tool. without any luck.
phone has been repaired 2 times, and has been replaced CPU / motherboard, but not battery.
The problem was there before and now after this fix.

to me it seems as if the calibration of the battery is completely wrong ....
is there any way to solve this ....
've read that by draining and charging up again several times to fix it but will not do it since it says that this can damage the battery.
