Right. I don't think so. This opens up a pandora's box of sorts. If the application does work and isn't rendered non-functional in future versions (updates) of Windows, it will wreak havoc on system stability. The same is true for StartisBack and similar applications.

Future versions of Windows will prevent such applications from being installed.

Start11 does not use Windows 10 components in the way that StartAllBack and some other programs do. Even when Microsoft blocked some systems from updating, it was computers running StartAllBack, not Start11.

Brad Sams from Stardock is quite active on X (Twitter). I'm sure he'd be happy to explain how Start11 works.

And, you can turn the ads off. It's no big deal and you don't have to buy anything.
