The ink pad needs service. Contact Epson.

I printed one page today. Then wanted to print a second page and this showed up on the printers screen. ‘’The ink pad needs service. Contact Epson.’’

I just installed brand new ink pads. I contacted Epson and told the person there The same thing as I write here. I think this is a flaw.

The person that I talked to to,d me the printer needs a technician to service this.

I unplugged the printer and plugged back in. That dis not work. Any ideas why this would happen?

Will resetting et-2720 to factory defaults reset ink pad counter.
