The keys on my Keyboard for my SP3 won't work. Only the touchpad works. How do I fix this?

When the keyboard is attached to my tablet the back-light comes on but none of the keys work and I'm only able to work the touch pad. In my device settings the keyboard says driver error. I tried to update the driver but it says it cant locate it. How do I fix this please? I am running Windows 10 if that has any baring on the issue. (SP3)
