The lumia 1020 screen

Ok so I got a like new lumia 1020 from att after going through 4 L920s but I feel the screen as touch issues. Sometimes i have to double tap twice to wake the screen up and at times when touching on the screen i have tap twice to open an app, is this common on this series?

Try turning the sensitivity up to High. If that doesn't help, the screen is faulty

have you tried soft resetting the device? once you got it in your hands? and no! it's not common
