The only apps I have are WPCentral and Preview For Developers... Even my SD card got formatted...

My bad the update I just got was 8.0.10521.155. Not the 8.1

which phone do you use? I've got L920 but I didn't get that small update, is that normal? Need answers from 920 users.

I believe you can see the percentage when you pull down the notification bar

GDR 2 took 1.95GB, GDR3 took 2.22GB how would you think it would take less with more features added!!!!!!

% indicator is in Action Center and apps can update tiles every minute now so TP alternatives won't be bad too.

Since this thread is the hottest at the moment, I would sneak in my wishlist for now :

First and foremost, WP8.1 release,
Whatapp update (due for months)
Assasins creed (sequel or similar game awaited for months),
Rebellion Games (sequel/updates awaited for months),
IMDB app (update awaited for years now)
Ability to attach files in a Email conversation (hope it is there in WP8.1)
Quick toggles (yes, it's there in WP8.1)

If you pull down the action centre. You will see the battery percentage level below the battery Icon..

but I do get your point to have a tile.
I guess there will be none. so that means we have to rely on third party apps.

Time Me clock (dev app deployed) shows time and battery percentage accurately.
