what will happen..in future if i reset my phone after installing Windows 8.1 Dev Preview???

Any future hard reset will just perform a WP8.1 factory reset, meaning you'll still being running 8.1: but will the factory default settings of 8.1.

I'd say anywhere between 1 and 2GB, but most likely somewhere between 1.2-1.5GB

They really need to update the desktop client to install updates, cause I'm barely scraping 1GB on my 8S with everything uninstalled apart from the Dev Preview and WPCentral...

Only solace till the time WP8.1 is released, is to read this thread here.

Good to know that, I am not the only impatient/enthusiastic one.

the final version..which will be released after 2-3 months will be the same or not??? If it is not same..can we update to that version???

It'll include some refinements by Nokia which you'll have to download.

Sent from my iPad (which I hate) using WPCentral Forums

I got told off for calling it "factory reset"

Apparently its just a reset. Either way I'm down for doing such a reset after my update is installed. Nothing like starting with a clean slate.

Hahah, what's the big issue with factory reset? :p

I personally don't want to lose my cherished game progress, so I'll hold on to my data for now. But once developers start enabling OneDrive syncing and backup, then I'll do a hard reset to clean up all the old baggage of using my 1020 since its launch day.
