done with .166 update .reset my phone before update so migrating the data was quick onto 8.1 .on a slow connection though./

Hey guys does anyone has a firm idea of how much data needs to be downloaded for both updates combined? The numbers I am reading are ranging from 100mb to 1.5gb. Alternatively, could you tell me your connection speed and time taken to download?

Took me 3 minutes on a ~95 Mbps, 4G LTE connection, although my Wi-Fi limits the speed to ~35 Mbps. So the size would be anywhere from 100-600MB, depending on how well the MS servers were providing data.

the 1st .166 update finished in 8-10 mins the 2nd update that is the one for 8.1 is taking way more time than the first one using my vodafone hspa+ connection...in the last 5 mins it just completed 25 percent of the download

According to my 4G mobile router usage its 25-30 MB for the first and around 350-375 MB for the second.

Pt1 Pre-update update has now finished...took nearly 45 minutes to download and complete the installation process. No access to wifi at the office I'm working in today so will have to do Pt2 when I get home this evening. :O\
