Hi,

//I'm new to windows phone developing and developing in general
I used to test apps on my phone because I couldn't run the emulator coz I don't have windows 8.1 pro
today I bought pro edition and enabled Hyper V on it but the emulator shows the message in the title each time I run it.
looks I'll keep testing apps on the phone. I hate this confusing way. Computer...Mobile...Computer...Mobile...Computer...Mobile. I even sometimes search for the code on the mobile LOL

I disabled the anti-virus software and it worked but I had another problem, No, not viruses. but I had another error and it says: the connection to the virtual machine has been lost. the emulator may have been closed by another application.

Damn.

Tried reinstalling Hyper-V I no longer get error messages but the emulator doesn't launch and keeps showing "The windows phone OS is starting"

Hi Hoss,

Just to confirm...to fix this you had to reinstall the entire OS? REALLY hoping it doesn't come to this for me.
