Something else I've been considering is theme color combined with phone color. For example, I'm really thinking of making the blue lumia 900 my next phone, but will the red, brown, or green theme clash with the blue? Should that even be a concern?

Nokia has a "Nokia Blue" accent which is darker than the stock blue.

Green on black for me. White background is a big no-no for me, it just makes the phone look cheap. IMO of course

you can use advaced configuration tool(if your phone is unlocked) and can create more themes, now I use bloody color on black

Do you have more info on that? That sounds like something I'd like to check out.

WP's with AMOLED displays are too much, well for me. I compared my Trophy to the Omnia W at the retial store and it looks too saturated and no longer appealing to the eyes. Although the Lumia 800 seems to get the colors look natural, its like the tiles are on top of the screen as if they were real.
