Things that need sorting before my contract is up

1. The People Hub. What a great idea. Everything in one place! Groups! No need for facebook and twitter apps. Except its not true. You still need the apps as you don't always see peoples updates because people hub is not an official facebook app. Totally crazy that it isn't. Just makes the whole thing a massive waste of a great opportunity and a major own goal for WP7 (in my opinion) I thought it was a fantastic idea for this to be all in one place but now i never even open it. Twitter is a bit limited too

It makes me so mad. Why do this great bit of software and then have something else as the official app. Gah!!! someone needs shooting.

2. Only 20 in a group. Why?

3. Apps. Lack of. I've always emailed companies that have apps for iOS and android to ask about windows phone. No plans, not at this time, maybe in the future. No good to me. most recent example of that is Netflix

4. Lack of handsets. If i want a nice big screen i've can have an HTC Titan or an HTC Titan.

Those are my main frustrations

But i dont want an iPhone, or the mess that is Android, so please sort something out Microsoft before my contract runs out because it could be so good.

well the people HUB is only designed for Quick updates.. IN AND OUT!. not for spending hours on facebook.... thats why they still support/make Twiiter and Facebook apps

for some one like me . the people HUB gives me ALL the info i need.. ( i just like to see whats up ) i spend my time on WPcentral not Facebook.. LOL.

3. well we have most of the main apps ( and allot more are coming.. sadly its not MS's fault .. MS does ALLOT to bring DEV's over to WP ..but the DEV's are hard headed FAN BOYS ) ..

NETFLIX on WP has better reviews then the Ios/Android version .. its only missing quick resume.. so i dunno what your problem with that is?

4. lack of handset?? seriously? go read the HARDWARE section of my thread ( in my signature) ... we have at lease 10 a year... x10 mroe then apple lol... and android comes out with a new piece of crap every week that gets fragmented... WP has stick requirements .. and making low end phonse is not an option at the moments, ( not till tango)

quality over quantity.

how many BIG screen iphones? = NONE

how many big screen Android? = not THAT many.. most of them are low end devices with small specs/screen ( aside from the Samsung Galaxi S(2) Nexus... 3 phones.....



according to your complaints.. BlackBerry might be the best phone for you , cause IOS , WP and Android all seem to have atlease 1 or 2 of the problems that you listed.

well as for the apps and handsets it must be a UK thing. No netflix app at all here. and maybe 5 or 6 handsets available altogether. HTC Titan, Radar, Mozart, Nokia 800 and 710.

Even with in/out you'd like to have all the updates, not just some of them.

oh and big screen devices. about 3 htc, samsung galaxy/nexus, motorola razr, sony ericsson arc s. As said, we dont all get the same stuff released

yeah i thinks that's the Main problem with WP ( but it HAS gotten better ) its lack of Unity in different countries... some of us get apps other Dont ( same thing with phones)

i remember getting phones 1 year after carriers in the UK ( back int he day )


ive had NETFLIX in Canada for over 1 year!!! suck for the UK thought i saw some where that it was release int he UK like 2-3weeks ago!, no!??


will probably have new handset announce in a month or 2 , hopefully big screen WP are coming to UK

Netflix have just launched the service here, but they have no current plans for a WP7 app. Maybe they are waiting to see how it goes... and hopefully we will ge the Lumia 900 here in June. That might shut me up a bit
