Just thought I'd share this in case it helps anyone.

1) Google music through IE11 - Prior to purchasing my surface 2 I was under the impression that Google All Play music didn't work with IE11. I can't vouch for the subscription service, but the music I've uploaded plays absolutely fine and continues in the background if using desktop IE11 too. GMusicW obviously works too.

2) Xbox music can actually throw your own music (not DRM Xbox radio) to a SONOS player using the "Play" function in devices on charms bar. You can't change the volume, but its better than nothing. The Phonos app isn't too bad if you just want to change volume / start&stop. The GMusicW player will also throw music to a SONOS whilst streaming from Google, which again is nice.

I have the Dell Venue 8 Pro and decided to give this a try. Lo and behold, it works on my Dell as well. I didn't go as far as the video went but will give it more of a workout later today.

The other day during the League Cup matches, I was streaming Tottenham v. West Ham from the Bein Sport webpage and the ManU v. Stoke match on the new slingplayer app. Side-by-side fullscreen video connected to a bluetooth speaker. Both looked great, the web stream perhaps a bit better even than the Slingplayer App due to the capped upload bandwidth of the Slingbox from the house I would assume...

I'm not a soccer fan but that is sweet. I like it.
