Thinking of buying the HD7S

I recently had both the Focus S and the Titan but had to return both to ATT because for some reason I was unable to get a usuable signal where I work in Boston. The really strange thing is that my iPhone 4 works prefectly well in the same location. ATT tech was no help and suggested that the reason was due to a weak "4G" signal comapred to 3G that the iPhone used.

Does anyone know whether the antenna in the HD7S uses similar tech as the iPhone? I want to buy one off Ebay but am worried that I will have the same issue as the Focus S and Titan. I really love Windows Phone and miss both the Focus S and Titan a lot but without a reliable signal at work the phones were quite useless.
