Thanks for the headsup....I've been wanting to pull the trigger, but my current Surface is going strong so I couldn't justify the price at this time. The $500 off for the model I wanted made it possible for me to pull the trigger. The only real reason I anted the new version is the longer battery life. I've been upgrading every couple of years to eek out a paltry 10-20 minutes of extra time. From what I've heard, this update is the one that should free me from the outlets. That said, the OLED display will be nice, too. Upcoming Recall will be welcome, too. Now I just have to wait for the Flex keyboard to be put on sale!

Oooooooooh! One day I'm going to regret not jumping on this deal. $1200 is still more than I want to spend right now, especially for a device that I want more than need.
