Both are cold, but they give different feels, though.

Tough one. I like the big screen on the 1520 but I think it would be too big for daily use for me. But the 1020 is kinda bulky.

Mp3 hands down. Most recent cars have USB ports. Its so convenient to grab some tracks from my collection and listen on those on the go. Even if your car only has a radio, I can get one of those MP3 modulators and plug it into the cigarette lighter thingy.... Music on the go .... Indispensable....

Both. I like to stay informed but after the news (most times they are serious/bad....I wonder why they rarely show good/happy news...) I need something that brightens the mood.

If the lyrics sound melodic I don't mind songs in different languages. I won't understand a word but sometimes it's just about how it sounds.
