Well(s), there already exist two movie-adaptions of each book (plus a bunch of tv shows having the invisible man as topic).
But I think the invisible man already got its good share of attention in the media (the movie with Kevin Bacon (such a delicious name!), a character in "League of extraordinary gentlemen", ...), so I would really like to sea a "modern" take on the novel called "The Island of Doctor Moreau".
Oh, by the way: nice question.
